something about a car. chevy blazer type thing.

visiting dad. i'm napping since he's out anyway doing something. i wake up after a while and he's not back yet, although i'm expecting him soon. mid-afternoon. i walk around the house a bit. the rooms are oddly clean and organized. bedroom at the end, a room or two mostly empty, living/dining room, and then a livingroom thing at the end (right) and bedroom (left).
i see him eventually show up. i look out the door. he's with a girl. medium hieght, blond hair.. i don't recognize her. i walk back through the house a couple times killing time waiting for them to come in. she comes in and goes into the master bedroom. i hover and come toward the door. finally recognize her as clare (very ex-girlfriend). confused. say a funny hi and then walk outside where dad is standing around.
notice that the house is actually the old trailer, but it's floating on the lake by the edge with a short ramp at the door. dad is standing up the path a bit.. i walk up to talk to him. he starts to explain about how they moved back in together on a trail type basis thing just to see what happened and that, to his surprise (he says), it's been just fine. it's not clear to me if they're sleeping together or he's staying in the room at the end where i was just sleeping. i don't ask.
the path we're standing on has bush/branch things on either side. [basically like the old one from the driveway to old trailer.] i'm mindlessly playing with a stick and mucking up some of the many cobwebs that almost entirely span the sides and top of the path. after a bit dad tells me to stop and says he's been waiting for them to completely cover the top of the path. i feel silly, since i know better than that and don't typically muck with cobwebs unless they're in my way and these aren't. i reattach the segment i had just detached. make some joke as i push a bunch of cobwebs against something to make them stick having something to do with a pun or play on the words homogenous/homosexual/homo-something.
