i'm debating someone but i've forgotten my affirmative case. i only have a
few random sheets of it. after the first speech though i realize i'm
negative so its ok, but then i haven't listened to their case so i don't
know what's going on during the cx. somehow after 7 rounds i've lost 2, even
though i'm sure i should be winning.

there's some news item about a kid who they think drowned in the tar pits,
and they're digging part of it up or something. they're doing a background
piece or something on the mom about how she's a meth addict and used to swim
with the kid in it all the time (its all wattery and clean like a lake now)
with the kid in a big red innertube. she's talking about how she used to
take the kid all the way across until the kid got scared and begged to come
back because when she did the kid loved her more.

i'm sitting around with and margo caroline brad and george and its sorta
late and we're all talking, but margo is yelling at us because we're
talking super loud. turns out that she didn't sleep the night before at all
and its important that she get sleep tonight. caroline is saying something
in a typically loud voice so i tease her and say 'what?' and get her to
repeat it until after 3 or 4 times she says it quiet enough. i wonder if
margo is somehow jealous because i'm talking to caroline?
