i remember about a ticket i got that was unjustified. i was pulled over for something random, ticketed to having too large a fan installed (bogus), but only because i didn't have my registration on me. when i did find my registration it was either impossible to locate the officer or navigate the beauracracy to get it cleared up.

people keep associating me with an art school, but only because i know a little bit about it. i don't plan on going, though i know someone who would like to.

someone is complaining that their friend wanted to sell waffles, of all things, at a party's concession stand.

i'm sitting at infostructure hanging out. they're talking about how bobby works a lot, but that they don't have too much problem getting ahold of him despite his funny sleeping schedule.

alan is there. suddenly he pulls an enormous board out of a machine in the wall, maybe 6 foot by 9 foot, complete with some risers and such. somebody asks what it is but he just says 'its complicated.' i wonder how complicated it has to be to be unable to answer that question. i keep looking at it while the conversation continues elsewhere. dallas is there. he asks too, and finally someone explains that its an integrated mainboard, with a dozen sockets for cpus in one place, a huge networking interface, etc, with all of the elements centralized. apparently they never ended up using it. it takes funny cpus anyway (its pretty old).
