i'm running away from somebody. i'm in a car careening down a mountain. somehow our car becomes two.. one of them a large bus rolling down the hill out of control. we pass it on the way down and turn onto a street below it, narrowly missing it as it careens across the road. i can't remember who i'm running from yet, or how i got to where i was.
well, it's a video game, almost. i've just signed some sort of contract or arrangement for cydonia or webring with will. he prints out a copy of the cydonia source, because apparently i'm about to disappear to avoid the people who will suddenly start pestering and bothering me. i'm not really sure who, but for some reason lance and trilobyte come to mind. i want to continue working at starseed, but i realize people will notice my car parked out front. anyway, i'm unimpressed with the hardcopy.. i want net access to the sourcesafe project or a at least a tar of the source tree.
i any case, i sign and take it and am immediately off through a hole in the ceiling and escape through the attic. i'm being followed by a flying thingy shooting green lasers (video game-esque) that's keeping the other flying thing chasing me from getting too close. i escape off of the roof and somehow make my way back into the house and through the same passage again. this time someone's just shown up to install something in the attic, so i find myself on the roof trying to make very little noise and not be noticed. both will and the carpenter/spy are there, and they notice me. it doesn't appear to be a problem, though.
