i'm female, i think. some woman calls who i want to impress or something. somehow i know who it is and answer with a different voice. she asks for me, and i say one second, make some random noise, then answer with my regular voice, except it comes out a little low and strange sounding. somehow emily is on the line instead, though. i think now i'm male. we chat for a minute or two and she tells me that she won't be able to make it today. i'm somewhat disappointed.

then she says that i can always go over to that wacky teacher's house that she was telling me about earlier. (apparently he has a trampoline, and students go over there all the time and have contents or something.) i ask who the people are, and she says they are planet 9 symphony type people. confused, i tell her that they are all in claremont. (i miss the planet sympony reference at the time.) oh. she says they listen to techno, and starts to list of a bunch of names that i don't recognize. i'm not terribly surprised since they are all at least a year younger than i am.

so i guess i somehow end up over there. there are three people taking turns on the trampoline and one other standing against the wall watching. i'm very disappointed to see it's a really small trampoline.. about 5 or 6 feet across, but they are still doing flips and stuff off of it. it's not very impressive. i look around and notice that in the other room there is a huge one (20' or so) turned up on it's side. i guess that it is broken or something. one of the guys bouncing is ruso, this substitute teacher we had periodically in high school (this isn't the name that emily used, though).

next we are playing some strange game involving a pool of water and a beach ball. i'm playing with two or three other people. the pool starts to fill up with obstacles (it seems more like a video game, but it's real) and the ball bounces around more before it gets near the edges, where we have to batt it to keep it in. the ball goes out and i have to serve it. i try to hit it toward a spot on the far edge that is still clear, but have to do it with my left hand and hit it too high. next i hit it too low and it bounces on the water and goes out. caleb is standing next to the edge that i keep missing.

---

next i am sitting in my car in the driveway bored. i start to play with the digital video camera that i have. apparently i have a little screen the size of a cell phone that will receive the signal the camera appears to be broadcasting. i also dig up another device that has controls which let me pan and zoom. i start to look around and find i have about a 120 degree field of vision, apparently because the camera isn't mounted very well or something is blocking it from turning.

later rodger is bitching about how he can't get his camera to work very well. i tell him that mine works fine.

---

i'm in some sort of studio or something with charley and denise. we're discussing/playing with cameras.
