i'm at some truck stop type place with dad and peggy. we walk across a large parking lot to a dinky little diner type thing for breakfast. dad pokes his head in and grabs a menu because he doesn't want to sit inside--it's way to cramped and kinda smelly (too much grease). there is a enclosed porch type thing with tables as well, but it's cold. we sit out there anyway.
he starts trying to see how many different sodas he can remember (dr. pepper, pepsi, etc.). for some reason he doesn't know all of them. he gets the three main ones. i tell him pepsi is better than coke, and dr. pepper is gross.

i'm driving my car (north) waiting for a break in the center line thingy so i can turn around. for some reason i'm pedaling. i want to go faster and keep shifting up but it's too much work. i wish i could just hold down a gas pedal. it's irritating.
...
i stop and park. i'm with one other person. we walk past a van with some strange contraption on in. the person i'm with (jeremiah?) opens it up (guess it's unlocked) and grabs a large pole type thing out of it and hands it to me. i pull it out and throw it on the ground.
we continue walking down the sidewalk. my shirt (white) has large seams on the shoulders and they are kind of uncomfortable. i keep adjusting it. the shirt is a little too small.
we walk past this person that looks vaguely like janet reno. we consider the possibility and decide it isn't her. there is a whole group of people with cameras gawking at something-er-other, but it turns out they're looking at some old car.. a model-t or something.
carissa, matt (beeson, from hs), and someone else are standing around talking. we say hi.
alarm clock.
