the titanic is sinking [shut up] and we're driving away from it on this dirt/clay road with lots of potholes. i'm on the hood of some chevy, somebody else is driving.. and we're following a minivan (i think).
the minivan is going really slow. i want them to hurry because the ship is about to go down and i know when it does there will be a big splash or suction or something and we should be a ways away from it.

i'm on the ship and it's about to go under. we get under deck by busting through some boarded up passage or something. we get down there and there are a bunch of people playing with hoses. i assume they have some strange plan to suck the water out of the ship, but they're using that 5" duct you put on your dryer.
it goes under and begins to sink. it feels like it's dropping really quickly like a fast elevator or something. i have an urge to jump up and down. i wonder when i'll wake up.

i'm in the woods on a motorcycle or something trying to think of a good way of saying that you don't need to worry about semaphores or anything when changing the interrupt table if you're programming under DOS since it's not a multitasking operating system.
i didn't think about disabling interrupts. or that you wouldn't normally be doing that any other time.
