. . .
ADD A CATEGORY, OR EXPAND A CURRENT CATEGORY.
At the moment, I do not have any means for you to directly modify THE OUTLANDISH ENGLISH LANGUAGE WEBSITE. All I can offer currently are two methods: e-mail or use of the guestbook.
If you e-mail me, give a message indicating what category you would like to add, or what you would like to add to an existing category. If you have a document, attach it to the e-mail. I use IBM with Windows 95, so please send me something in a format I can access. I use Microsoft Word 7.0, but if you send a document from any previous version, or from Word Perfect, MS Word 7.0 will convert it. If you don't use any of these, please convert the document to text-only format. If what you want to add includes images, it would be best to attach each image to an individual e-mail, to ensure that they do not become corrupted. If you have a document already in HTML format, attach it, too. I may modify HTML documents to suit the site, but I will maintain the integrity of the content. You may find it easier, and more successful, to e-mail from your ISP, rather than from within the site. Observe two things if you e-mail something to me: Since I have to sort mail at a glance, state in the subject of the message "ADDITION TO TOELW". PLEASE ONLY USE THIS IF YOU ARE SENDING AN ATTACHMENT! If you are simply sending a query, give the message an appropriate subject. If you are sending something with an attachment, be certain to state so in the body of the message so I will not overlook it.
Use the guestbook only if you have suggestions but nothing directly to contribute, as you cannot attach anything to the guestbook entry. Using the guestbook allows all veiwers to see your suggestion, which may lead to small collaborative groups, or may spark someone else into a creative idea.
